REPORT ON WORLD AIDS DAY 2007
Sai Achiever's Trust took the main lead and organized the awareness compaign for HIV/AIDS in Gandhi Maidan of Patna. Many othe organizations voluntarily participated in the event. Other partners for the event were Supramental Foundation, Mobile Theater, Rishabh Digital Imaging and Research Centre and Samrat Hotel. LEPRA Society provided all the support in the organizing this event.
The function was inaugurated by Dr. C. P. Thakur, former union minister of health, govt. of India. In his speech he said that HIV is a silent killer which has percolated from urban areas to rulal areas. He also said that in Bihar, the migration for search of employement is high, which is one of the reasons that make the people of this state more volnerableto contact HIV.

The Skit "MADARI KA KHEL" performed by DAV Public School, Walmi got the First Prize. The painting competition was also equally encouragious : DAV Public School, Walmi branch has again won the first prize in the painting competition. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Teacher of DAV Public School, Walmi received the momento from the chief guest at the programme.
